Shimano Advanced Hydraulic Disc Brake Bleed Kit

What's in the Kit

• 1 x 30ml Syringe
• 1 x 20ml Syringe
• 1 x Funnel & Stopper
• 2 x Durable plastic hoses with clamps
• 2 x Funnel Adaptors — for road and other bicycle braking systems
• 1 x Bleed Adaptor for threaded calipers
• 1 x Bleed Block with integrated rotor truing tool
• 1 x Shimano 4-Piston Caliper Bleed Block
• 1 x 6/7mm Open-End Spanner (for bleed nipple)
• 1 x 2.5mm Hex Key (for bleed port screw)
• 1 x Brake Hose Clamp (for shortening hose or replacing olive & needle)
• 1 x Pair of gloves
• Optional: 1 or 2 x 100ml Genuine Shimano Mineral Oil
• Shop towel for clean-ups (included when purchasing with fluid)

About the Fluid

100ml of fluid is enough for 2–3 standard bleeds of front and rear brakes. If your fluid hasn't been replaced in over 2 years, we recommend a full flush for optimal braking performance — a complete front and rear flush uses approximately 100ml.

Good to Know

Note: Next-generation Shimano brakes such as M9200/M9220 & M8200/M8220, require Shimano Low Viscosity (LV) mineral oil (SM-LVOIL).   These brakes are NOT COMPATIBLE WITH & MUST NOT BE USED with standard mineral oil!
